2009 Lexington City Championship Results
Posted on July 16, 2009
The Lexington Men’s City Golf Championship came to a close this past weekend with 16 year old Will Bishop coming out on top after 72 holes. The championship is a 72 hole stroke play tournament played at four different courses: Tates Creek, Lakeside, Picadome, and Kearney Hill Golf Links. Each course did a fantastic job getting ready for play and it ended being a great tournament.
I’ve always wanted to play in this tournament and was finally able to do so this year. It was my first big tournament since high school golf and I feel like I played fairly well with the exception of a few shots. I look forward to playing in the years to come.
