Cherry Blossom is Top Course You Can Play in Kentucky According to Golfweek

According to Golf Week Magazine, Cherry Blossom Golf Course in Georgetown, Ky is tops on the list of Kentucky’s “Best Courses You Can Play.” I played this course a couple years ago and don’t remember much about it except that it was a nice course. I’m not so sure that it should get the ranking of top course you can play in Kentucky as given the choice of playing one of the courses in the list, I would pick Old Silo hands down. I have never played Lassing Pointe or Wasioto Winds, but for me, they would have to be flawless to be better than Old Silo.

Kearney Hill Golf Links Ranked 4th in the United States by Golf Link

Golf Link is one of the best web resources for golf information and instruction on the internet and they’ve compiled a list of the top 100 courses in the United States. Kearney Hill Golf Links is number four on Golf Link’s list of 100, just behind Bethpage Black, Augusta National and Pine Valley Golf Club.
This really comes as no surprise to me, this is one of my favorite courses in Kentucky, of the ones I’ve played that is. I work in Frankfort full time and usually will stop by Kearney Hill on my way back to Lexington to practice. Welcome to Kentucky Golfing, Kentucky’s Online Golf Resource. My name is Deron Sizemore and I created and manage Kentucky Golfing. The idea for Kentucky Golfing was born in 2005 but at the time I didn’t have the resources to create the site. So, I’ve been sitting on the domain name for going on three years now. I finally got serious about developing the site about a year ago and I’ve been working diligently ever since to finish the site.
The site is finally live as you can see, so feel free to browse around and check everything out. The site will always be a work in progress and I’ve still got a few small kinks to work out, but overall, it’s finished.
