About Kentucky Golfing

Kentucky Golfing is owned and operated by Deron Sizemore, a golf nut living in Lexington, KY. He wanted an outlet to share his thoughts and experiences with golf in Kentucky as well as provide an outstanding resource to keep golfers from around the state connected to the game.

Blog

The blog is where I will share my personal experiences with topics centered around the game of golf. As the site grows, I hope to have additional authors sharing their own thoughts and experiences as well. Visitors will also be able to comment on each article in the blog allowing conversation with other Kentucky golfers.

Courses

The courses section is a database of Kentucky golf courses. In addition to finding information on a specific course prior to playing it, you will also be able to rate and review each course, thus helping other golfers decide what courses are the “must plays” in Kentucky. The top ten list found on the courses homepage is the top ten courses in Kentucky as rated by you, the golfer. In addition to rating and reviewing the course, members of Kentucky Golfing have the added ability to “favorite” a course. When you favorite a course, it goes into your member favorites page so it’s easily accessible for future reference.

Course Spotlight

In the course spotlight section, we will feature one course and give you an in-depth review of the course and hopefully arm you with all the knowledge you’ll need before playing the course yourself.

We’ve teamed up with some of the best golf instructors from around the state to provide instruction articles and assist in your journey to become a better golfer.

Gallery

The gallery gives you a chance to take a look at all the beautiful course layouts that can be found in Kentucky. Members of Kentucky Golfing can even upload their own Kentucky golf pictures into the gallery.

Forums

The discussion forums are a great place to get tips, hang out and chat with other golfers from around the state. If you like talking golf or need help with your game, you’ll feel right at home in the forums.
